Insurance Policy OCR: What to Verify Manually
After OCR reads an insurance policy, manually verify the insurer name, policy number, insured item, premium, excess, limits, renewal date, exclusions, endorsements and assumptions against the original document. OCR is useful for organising records, but the policy schedule, PDS and renewal notice remain the source documents.
